About me

I am a Master of Wine based in Edinburgh with over a decade’s experience working in the wine trade.

I began my career working for Majestic Wine in London before moving to Scotland and setting up Lothian Wine School, offering wine tasting courses in Edinburgh for all abilities, from one-off beginners’ classes to eight-week courses and professional qualifications for the hospitality trade.

I have trained staff at many of Scotland’s top restaurants and hotels, and judged at several international wine competitions. I am a prior recipient of the Calem Port Award and the Derouet Jameson Award.
